Media Sales Executive – New Business
Women’s Marketing Inc. is seeking a high-energy new business seller to join our amazing team. If you love the hunt of bringing in new clients and closing business, this job is for you.
This position will be responsible for developing new business through a consultative multi-media sales approach, aggressive cold calling and lead generation. The ideal candidate must be strategic as well as live and breathe everything about traditional and new media.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Our ideal candidate will have a:
- Deep knowledge and affinity for the media marketing landscape including digital and traditional. Specific knowledge of digital ad models, pricing, products, research, and analytics is a must
- Track record in building a base of new clients for a digital media or marketing services business through consultative selling and relationship building
- Genuine passion for the end-to-end process of selling and client management
- High-energy, action-oriented entrepreneurial work style
- 4-6 years of media sales experience in a client facing role, with a focus on new business development in the digital space
- Demonstrated history of quota attainment with the ability to evaluate sound business opportunities and close deals
- Ability to build a strategic sales plan and execute accordingly
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge and usage of Salesforce.com a plus
- Work requires local and long distance travel
